The spot was perfect for strolling, but the room felt cramped and sweltered; being on the ground floor meant we couldn't open the window.

The rustic vibe was great and the beach was a short walk away, yet the annex had chilly stone floors, and when we booked a meal we were told to wait and then offered a table beside a large dog; after chatting again we got a spot in the main restaurant where the food turned out tasty.
