The place was gorgeous, comfy and quiet, and the staff were very friendly; everything was great! The check‑in was a bit complicated and slow with the kiosk, but that’s a minor detail.

“Incredible private villa in the mountains of Hakone”

The villa was amazing with a beautiful interior design, and both the indoor and outdoor onsens were perfect—we spent a lot of time in each. The setting was peaceful, tucked in the middle of forest and mountains, so I’ll definitely return. The only downside was that there was no on‑site restaurant; you either book the kaiseki dinner (Shabu‑shabu), which is fantastic but heavy, or drive into town for food. It would have been nice to have a restaurant on the property, but it’s a small villa complex so I understand. The food we did have was delicious.

“Best stay in Japan! 🇯🇵”

From check‑in to check‑out everything was flawless and spot on. We stayed the night before heading to our dorm to study in Japan, and it was exactly the break we needed before the adventure. I’ll come back someday; it was absolutely fantastic. As a Belgian, they even provided translations in 3‑4 different languages for me. Our villa was huge for just two people, with two incredible baths and two bedrooms that had very comfortable beds. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

“A wonderful cozy getaway”

This was one of the biggest highlights of our trip to Japan. We went there for our honeymoon and the staff were extremely friendly. The view and the onsen were magnificent.
