The view from the four‑person room was fantastic, with the balcony overlooking Sun Moon Lake right away. After our swim on 9/20, the hotel offered us some double rooms for convenience, which was very thoughtful. The only point that cost me a point was the front desk supervisor that day; my family just asked if a hair dryer could be provided in the washroom, and she replied, “A hundred of them won’t be enough?” I don’t know what her relationship with her staff is, but that kind of banter in front of guests feels disrespectful. If the supervisor sees this, please put yourself in my family’s shoes and consider how they felt.

“整體很舒適，因為是新飯店所以設備都很乾淨。因為建築物不是湖景第一排，所以會看到前排房子等等，但因為事前爬文做功課都有了解狀況了，整體與期待沒有落差。”

The new hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The balcony door had no screen, and the room door lacked a lock chain, which made me feel uneasy. The double bed was not a separate compartment, so my partner’s movements disturbed me.

The space was larger than expected, and the bathroom was also big. This time the room didn’t have a hot‑spring pool, even though I thought every room did. There was a bathtub to soak in, but I didn’t smell any hot‑spring aroma. The mattress was very firm; breakfast was all vegetarian, the lettuce salad was good, but there were fewer hot dishes than I had expected, and the bean‑bun roll wrapped around an ice‑stick felt a bit dangerous.
