The location was exceptional; the setting left a strong impression. I stayed there during a motorcycle trip and finished a 1030 km day‑trip from Poland. The place’s vibe was amazing. I used an apartment with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen, and the property was well equipped. Everything was fine!

From the moment I stepped in and was greeted by the lady at the guesthouse, it was a 10‑point experience even before seeing the room! The host is a 20‑point person, unusually considerate. The location is fantastic: no close neighbors, an exceptional panorama, and the silence was simply dreamy. I really appreciated the attention to detail – they left us traditional costumes for both ladies and gentlemen (great for photos!), and the house provided coffee and horchata. I also wholeheartedly recommend trying the apple horchata she sells! Not a real flaw, but worth mentioning: the road is a bit steep and single‑lane for about 500 m (a straight uphill slope to the guesthouse), yet it climbs smoothly in summer. I drove a Skoda Superb with no trouble. A small suggestion (not a criticism): if you rent the whole house you get maximum privacy, so a few beach loungers in the yard would be perfect!

The house is wonderful, perched on a hill with a fantastic panorama. It’s a great spot for visiting the Barsana monastery and the whole Maramureș area. The last stretch of road to get there is a somewhat rough, white gravel road, so keep that in mind, especially if you have a very low‑profile car. We used a Renault Clio and managed it several times without issues, just a bit of caution. In our bathroom the sink and shower leaked a little, but otherwise everything was perfect.
