The spot was perfect—everything was within walking distance and the free secure parking was a lifesaver in this busy area. Breakfast was continental and efficient, though you had to pay extra for fried eggs or an omelette; the bread was always fresh and lovely. The hotel feels a bit dated, yet it stays clean. There was no kettle in the room, so I went down to reception and asked for a cup of tea; they brewed it in front of me, let me take it upstairs, and then charged me 4 € for it. I was also told that if I bought tea bags at the supermarket, they would give me hot water for free. That seemed like a poor service, and a simple cup of tea could have made my stay more enjoyable—charging extra for it is unnecessary.

The location was good, the lobby was nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was solid, parking was convenient, and it was close to the beach. The noise level was extremely low, but the room’s placement in a dark corridor was dull. In the morning, the doors around the house creaked loudly. It was a bit stingy to have to pay extra for a cup of tea in the lobby, something we've seen at other hotels.
