Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The rest of the hotel was truly horrific, with dirty rooms, stained walls, and a general sense of neglect.

I'm still trying to figure out how this hotel managed an 8/10 rating. The only redeeming quality was its proximity to Semarang airport, but that's where the positives ended. The air conditioning worked, which was a blessing, but the rest of the hotel was a disaster. The bedroom and bathroom were filthy, with stains and marks on the walls, and the bed linen had pen marks on the pillowcases. The whole building was suffering from mould, and it felt like no one cared about the state of the place.

I'm still trying to process the sheer horror of this hotel. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat – or rather, a nightmare. The hotel is dilapidated and dirty, with stains on the walls and floors from previous guests. The duvet had suspect spots on it, and the towels were long past their usable date. The walls were marked with previous guests' spills, and to make matters worse, there are no windows in the room – it's literally like a jail cell.
