The location is fantastic, the cleaning is spot‑on, the restaurant is excellent, and you can eat wherever you want, even right on the beach. The Wi‑Fi is strong throughout the property, the smart TV lets you watch Netflix and other channels, and there are plenty of services and excursions. The only issue is that not all staff speak English, which could be a problem for non‑Spanish speakers.

The place itself is truly charming: quiet, few tourists, private beach access and a kind, always‑available staff. Unfortunately, a few things spoiled our stay. Even though the beach area is supposed to be for guests only, many vendors from the adjacent public beach bring jet‑skis and small boats to sell excursions, creating a lot of noise and water pollution, with the sea often filled with bubbles and foam from the engines. We also had a very bad experience with the massage therapist the hotel suggested (who walked in from the nearby public beach): a 50‑minute massage cost 550,000 COP, about €169. Since the hotel has no real spa and the therapist was neither qualified nor employed by the property, we found the price absurd. Other beach massage providers normally charge around 260,000 COP, less than half. The payment was taken in front of hotel staff who never warned us that the price was out of line. Overall, the location and staff friendliness made it pleasant, but the value for money was seriously off.

“Me encanta el mar”

The location is on the beach. It has no hot water, a broken jacuzzi, only cold water, and the food is terrible and expensive. Half‑day salad, night main course, 300 USD per day. There are no showers on the beach, and the service is extremely pricey.
