“Overall great stay”
The spot and service are great, breakfast was tasty, and the room was roomy, though the street noise was a little annoying.

The rooms are roomy and comfy, the spot is superb, and the property’s history is intriguing; the regular breakfast comes fresh and beautifully displayed on a wheeled trolley to your room. Yet it feels a bit lacking in generosity: the takeaway breakfast was subpar, staff hesitated to give extra tea bags, and the numerous rules—including a corkage fee for room drinks—are restrictive.

This place is stunning, right in the heart of Chiado near all shops, restaurants, and sights. The staff are wonderful, very helpful, and adapt to any need. The rooms are huge and ornate, offering plenty of space to relax and enjoy room‑service breakfast on a trolley, which was the best breakfast I’ve had during our six‑week holiday.
