“I had a nice room overlooking the square, but the air-conditioning system was not working.”
I liked the location, but it was scorching hot, the air‑conditioning didn’t work, and the refrigerator was also broken.

The spot was convenient and clean, the room was large and even had a fridge; there was no breakfast, so we either went to another hotel or bought something at the little shop downstairs. However, the rooms weren’t ready at 14:00—we got ours at 16:00—and the whole area had no hot water, which isn’t the hotel’s fault but something they didn’t warn us about.

I was highly disappointed with my stay at Hotel City Tower in Mongolia. When I arrived, I discovered that the lock on my room door was not working properly. I immediately reported it and asked to be moved to another room, but the manager told me there were no other rooms available. Instead, I had to wait for someone to come and try to fix the lock, which was extremely inconvenient. Unfortunately, the lock still did not work properly, and I had to spend the night in the room feeling nervous and unsafe. On top of that, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. The next morning, I spoke with the manager again and explained how uncomfortable and stressful my stay had been. She said she would “look into it,” but no action was taken. For a hotel, a secure room door is a basic requirement. I expected much better service and concern for a guest’s safety and comfort. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There was nothing positive to mention. Visiting during Mongolia’s peak heat meant the air‑conditioner barely functioned, turning the room into a sauna, and green water leaked, so we had to relocate. The room was as unappealing as the pictures showed, cramped, and occasional power cuts left us without electricity for quite a while.

The spot was convenient. Because we visited during the hottest period in Mongolia, the air‑conditioner barely worked and felt more like a sauna, and green water came out, forcing us to change hotels. As the photos suggested, the room was uncomfortable, tiny, and sometimes the power would go out for a long stretch.
