A very nice hotel with attentive owners – we were able to leave our bikes without any trouble during our cycling trip and they were stored safely.

We stayed in room 7, which offered a beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful sunset. The hotel is an older building but “well kept.” The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. If you want to dine at the restaurant in the evening, book a table in advance – we underestimated that. It would have been great (e.g., the Schalsee-Maräne). For us electric‑car drivers, the fact that we could charge our vehicle at the hotel was a big plus. The beds were too hard for our liking.
