The breakfast was decent, yet the bed was awful—old, lumpy mattress, terrible sheets and towels, and the inn didn’t provide a face towel or sheet unless you asked. On weekends and holidays the neighboring club’s music blasted through the walls, making the room feel like a rave. The bathroom was clunky; you’d splash everything, and they used an old‑school toilet‑tank tablet that left a strong stench in the room.

The location was great, the lodge was pretty, the breakfast tasty, and there was a water filter to refill bottles. The room bathroom lacked a curtain or shower box, so the toilet got wet.
