“Quirky, beautiful place with rustic charm and great location”
The place was absolutely beautiful, quirky and rustic. Every room was unique, and there were plenty of extra spaces in the bar area, central courtyard, and a small roof terrace. The details were incredible—natural wood structures, branches, and decor all made by Victor, one of the owners. Both owners were very helpful, booking taxis or suggesting places to visit. Drinking water dispensers and hot water were available at all times, with free tea and coffee facilities. The kitchen was well stocked, including a fridge, microwave, and gas hob that were free to use. Each room had a universal plug and USB adapter. The location was good, just off the main harbour front road and a few steps from shops and restaurants, but a little quieter because it’s off the main street. The rustic wood charm isn’t for those who want white, clean lines and modern minimalism. The shower hot water took a long time to heat and sometimes fluctuated between hot and warm. Fire alarms around the rooms and social spaces were a constant. Two of them in the main office/reception, along the courtyard, ran out of battery and beeped every 20‑30 seconds for 10 days we were there and then returned. I mentioned it to the owner, but he thought they could be ignored, so they continued to beep. It’s common in the town to hear such low‑battery warnings ignored, making it a constant beeping soundtrack during our stay.
