“Beautiful off the beaten track property with great hosts”

I was handed a huge two‑bedroom flat with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The building is an old converted farm, so the ceilings are low. The flat is well equipped and includes a fully stocked kitchen. The courtyard gives a lovely view of the town’s church and is ideal for relaxed afternoons. The hosts were great (thanks again Andreas!), and the 20 km drive to my assignment in Erfurt through beautiful countryside turned out to be one of my favorite moments. There's a decent Greek restaurant in a nearby village… No complaints.

The owners were very reluctant and kept entering the room repeatedly (even several times a day). Communication was difficult. Because the space was used by four men for a week, the mess was understandable (constant beds, clothes on the floor.). Before departure everything was lavishly praised. Constant complaints and clumsy remarks. The music player left on the balcony was forgotten and "was not found".

The courtyard was nice with parrots and a fridge stocked with drinks. It was very noisy; the roommates stayed in the courtyard until late at night.

We keep coming back! We always enjoy our stays and already look forward to the next one. Cleanliness, equipment, breakfast, friendliness.
