It was exceptional value for money. There were adequate kitchen facilities and there was ample space for a short stay. Pleasantly decorated. The shower only ran freezing or boiling but the staff were trying to fix it, it's just a shame there was no prior knowledge of this so they could repair it earlier as the kids had to shower at the pool. There were 6 of us staying. no duvet cover for the sofa bed but the spare duvet was in the wardrobe. Not the end of the world

The staff at the pub were fantastic and the swimming pool was nice, but the location felt very rural and the shop only offered basic food; there weren’t enough knives, forks, or spoons, so we had to get some from the pub. The shower was awful—it was either so hot it would burn the kids or so cold.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially when it came to my children. They even had a fantastic kids' program that kept them entertained and engaged throughout our stay.

During my stay, I was charmed by the thoughtful touches that made the place feel like home, especially the Halloween decorations. The availability of books, games, and a well-stocked cupboard with tea, coffee, and groceries was a lovely bonus. However, I did notice that the property could benefit from some attention to detail in certain areas. Thankfully, the owners were extremely helpful and responsive when I brought this to their attention, and I appreciated their gratitude for my feedback.
