The studio was pleasant and well equipped, with a roomy shower, a large TV with internet and YouTube. It turned out not to be the Sea Breeze hotel but private apartments within the complex, which explains the pros and cons of that setup. Reception handled the check‑in but then stepped back; the private owner dealt with everything else, communicating by messages, taking payments and arranging perks like free beach access. He was friendly, yet because he doesn’t live on site, issues needing his presence took about 1.5 hours to resolve, and the on‑site staff were often of little help. Cleaning, frequent linen and towel changes, and trash‑bin emptying weren’t included in the price. On the plus side, it felt like a mini‑apartment with its own washing machine and kitchenette, saving money on laundry and restaurants, which are pricey in Baku. We stocked up at the nearby Bravo market, just a two‑minute walk, and cooked our own meals, which worked well for us. The sea was almost fresh‑water, with a firm sandy bottom and clear shallow water—about 30 m deep enough for a teenager to wade waist‑deep. Wind is common, so bring a windbreaker; the sun is strong. The season starts in the second half of June. The air‑conditioner sat above the panoramic window, and the bed was right by the window, so the night breeze blew directly onto the sleeper. There’s no separate ventilation; opening the only window—the balcony door—lets in a swarm of biting insects and mosquitoes, so bring after‑bite remedies even though a fumigator is present but ineffective. Cats sometimes wander in. Because there seem to be no clear house rules, groups of young people in neighboring rooms make noise at night—shouting, laughing, smoking, and car horns from street‑level windows—so a quiet atmosphere is rare; it feels more like a party spot, which might be a plus for some. The whole area is paved with concrete slabs, not ideal for nature lovers. Beaches have biting insects, and the shore is often covered with gritty ground and bulldozers. Many waiters on the beach push expensive, low‑quality drinks and food. The best restaurants were Shore House and Bosphor, but they cost two to three times more than the top spots in Baku.

Everything was terrible - no card payments accepted, only cash. You have to pay openly, no other options.

The staff were really friendly, that's about all I can say. No other comments.

We stayed here from 19 to 23 September, just after the season ended. The apartment was on the ground floor with a great view, a big balcony, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The building is modern and beautiful, with a clean lobby and corridors. The owner, Rahim, was super helpful and welcoming, even at 3 am. However, we didn't love the resort as a whole - the beach had sand only right by the sea, and the rest was hard ground that was uncomfortable to walk on barefoot.
