The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which made checking in a breeze. They even offered free bicycles and direct access to the lake, which was a nice perk. The only downside was that the hotel itself sits quite a distance from the water, so you have to trek a bit to get there.

The rooms were spacious and the breakfast spread was solid, plus the balcony gave a pleasant spot to enjoy the view. The location worked well for getting around town. Unfortunately the bathroom had no ventilation, so it felt a bit stuffy after a shower.

The spot is gorgeous and the beds are comfortable, which made for a restful stay. However, the on‑site restaurant only offered a very limited menu, so dining options were pretty thin.

We loved the garden tavern tucked under the trees and the dinner there was really tasty. The room, however, felt dated and had carpet flooring, even though the booking info mentioned some rooms in our category with wooden floors. Since we were traveling with a dog, I specifically wanted a carpet‑free room, so that was a disappointment.

The hotel itself was nice, the staff were pleasant and the food was quite refined. Everything seemed to fit together without any major issues. Nothing stood out as particularly bad, just an overall decent experience.
