The lodge was well maintained, with a clean and comfortable room. It had plenty of greenery and plenty of space. Breakfast was complete and tasty, and the service was very simple from the whole team. When we entered the room there was a strong mothball smell. We had to leave the room open to ventilate it out.

The inn sits in a gorgeous, well‑kept garden and the pool is a real treat, but communication was a bit of a hurdle since none of the staff spoke English; we managed with Google Translate. The area is great for hiking, yet they didn’t have any local trail info and only offered a guide, which isn’t always what we want.

The room was spotless and everything seemed organized, though the TV only had free channels – a cable package would have been nice because nobody wants to watch just the basic stuff.
