The lodge is simply perfect and the guys go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Just go! The only slight issue is the possibility of sleep disturbance from street noise; earplugs were left in the room for your convenience. No other problems!

Perfect stay. The owners are very kind and you can see their care for the place and the guests. The room is very tidy and clean, with complimentary water refilled daily. Towels and utensils are new. The entire lodge is new and well maintained, with air conditioning and an electric shower. Breakfast is wonderful, featuring local cuisine. Everything is very good. They make tapioca and omelets on the spot. The common area is very beautiful and cozy, with cats that live on the premises—very lovely and well cared for. The location is great for those who like to stay near the center, restaurants, and bars. Be aware that on weekend nights there is music nearby, but nothing that prevents a good sleep. The bed is also very good. Overall, I loved it and will definitely return. The only request for the future is to have breakfast start a bit earlier, so it’s not so rushed before heading out.

Alter do Chão is a very different, "roots", exotic and beautiful place worth visiting. At arrival, I was greeted by the couple Di and Cleiton, who are great hosts and make your stay different from a traditional lodging. Their concern is to offer a very close and personalized treatment to everyone! The lodge itself is charming! Everything is very good and beautiful, the environment super pleasant and quiet, the room is very cozy (it seemed larger in the photos, but that's fine), comfortable bed, bathroom and electric shower are well suited. Breakfast is one of the highlights, with many fruits and typical regional juices, freshly made on the spot, all prepared with great care and attention. Better than many 5‑star hotels! I think I ate the best tapioca of my life! I wanted to repeat everything, really very good! Additionally, there is a huge hydro bath on the ground floor available by appointment, I loved it and used it every day! The lodge's location couldn't be better, right next to the town center where restaurants, markets and the bridge to Ilha do Amor are. If you're looking for a really good place to stay, I would recommend Ocazum without hesitation, unless you are a fan of hearing sertanejo on a giant JBL at maximum volume, then the lodge isn't really the profile.

We loved the lodge! The place is beautiful, super charming and very well located. The owners are very kind, attentive and welcomed us very well. You can feel the care in every detail. Our stay was wonderful and we would definitely come back!
