We chose the pay‑on‑arrival option, but when we got there they said there was no booking on file, even though we showed them the confirmation email with the booking reference. They insisted we hadn’t booked until payment was made. Why offer a pay‑on‑arrival choice if you can’t process it? We had to scramble for another hotel nearby because the temperature hit 45 °C and we were traveling with kids.
