Located on Stora Torget Square in Torsby, Hotell Björnidet is 650 meters from Torsby Train Station. The hotel features light rooms with private bathrooms, TV, and free Wi-Fi. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was very appealing, but the place needs TLC or a serious carpenter.

The location, service, and cleaning were excellent, but the whole building was a single renovation project on a messy lot, with only the room made tidy using contact paper and reasonable fixes; the service and location were still impeccable.

The staff were friendly and flexible, keeping the front desk open late so we could check in even though it was midnight.

I stayed in Torsby near a nature reserve where we wanted to walk the 7 villages. The breakfast was tidy, not very elaborate. The room and beds were good. The hotel itself was neat, but the outside and surroundings looked a bit worn. It was fairly expensive compared to what it offered and to other hotels in Sweden.
