I liked the location, the calm and peace among the vineyards, and the gardens; the pool was available even though it wasn’t the season. The bathroom in the room had a broken shower support, which isn’t a big deal but is noticeable when missing.

I’ve stayed here several times and it works well as a stop on our car trip from Santander to Faro twice a year; it’s pleasant, friendly, and peaceful. Dinner is good and the atmosphere is great when served outside in the courtyard in summer. The own wines are excellent and very reasonable. The air‑con in the bedroom is very good. The towels in the bathroom are lovely and clean, and the linen on the comfortable beds is clean. There is plenty of hot water and soap. Dogs are very welcome. We really enjoy staying here. The electricals in the bedrooms are safe but the bedside lights (and lampshades) need an overhaul, and there is no plug in the washbasin.
