I just spent a night in a gorgeous room in Sri Lanka and it was unforgettable. From the moment I stepped in, the warm welcome set the tone. The room was large, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, mixing modern comforts with traditional Sri Lankan touches. The bed was amazing, giving me a great night’s sleep after a day of touring. The view from the window was breathtaking, with lush greenery and nature sounds all around, creating a peaceful escape. The AC worked flawlessly, and the bathroom was pristine, stocked with high‑quality toiletries. The staff was attentive and always ready to help with a smile, making me feel right at home.

The place was clean, and the owners were genuinely cute. The bed was way too small for two of us, and we’re both on the smaller side… mornings were noisy with prayer calls and vehicles.

The view, high ceilings, and heat didn’t bother me, and the side street was quiet (except for the TukTuk baker). Wi‑Fi would be great, but mobile data is cheap enough, so it’s fine.
