We really enjoyed our stay at the Finca. The garden is beautiful, the bungalow is very large and clean. We appreciated the conversations with Katarina and Martial about the region and the country’s history, and everyone was very attentive to us. Everything was perfect.

Nothing. I didn’t stay, I turned around as soon as I saw it was a scam, the place was nothing like described, the road was hell, 1 hour under such dangerous conditions we had to cross rivers to get there and all for NOTHING I demand my money back!!!. Nothing, this place is a scam, there is not food or a place near by to buy any kind of food

An exceptionally beautiful and special place. Katharina explained exactly how we should travel in advance. Still, arriving by bus from Estelí during the rainy season was an adventure in itself! Marcial and Marlene welcomed us warmly at the Finca and gave us insight into their life up in the Nicaraguan mist forest, bringing us closer to this special land—thank you! The tour with Marcial through the forest, the horseback ride on good horses to the Mirador, Marlene showing us how local fresh cheese is made, and Molly who was always around were highlights of our stay, which originally planned for 3 days but extended to 5. The many different birds, the fireflies at night, and the unique ecosystem of the mist forest impressed us greatly. Also, water can be scarce during the rainy season! Anyone who loves nature in any form, the original and simple, and brings a bit of adventurous spirit should highly recommend Lindos Ojos 🥰. We had to leave much earlier than we wanted and would have liked to stay longer 🥲.

The staff’s attention was excellent, from the owner—a wonderful lady—who helped us resolve issues when we started the trip to the finca and kindly changed our reservation through conversations. We were given a clear description and directions to the finca. At the finca, Mr. Marcial and his wife, who are directly involved, helped us with any arrangements. They provided a pony for our daughter to ride for a while in the afternoon. The cabin is accessible, right at the road’s edge, and the bathroom and beds are in good condition, all in perfect shape.
