The place is very quiet during the day and the pool is large and nice, but the description is the same no matter which bungalow level you choose, so the cheaper ones don’t match the ad. The restaurant has a huge menu but almost nothing is actually available, so the meal is basically forced (and expensive) and there’s no other restaurant nearby.
We liked the place because it was pretty, the wooden rooms and the pool were nice, but the restaurant offered very few dishes even though they had a menu with many options and they didn’t have anything for breakfast. We were far from town but there was no bike or scooter rental, so we had to take a tuk‑tuk each time.
“Value for money, but no beach”
There was an outdoor sitting area, but the road to the property is rough.
“Best if you have your own trasnport. Nice gardens and rooms but service and food disappointing .”
The gardens, pool and sea views were lovely and my room was clean and well equipped, but the rice was a bit high, especially since I had to pay extra for the disappointing breakfast. Evening food choices were let‑down because most menu items were not available. The promised tuk‑tuk to Kampot (7 km away) didn’t exist, the manager seemed indifferent and didn’t help arrange transport at the end of our stay, so I had to walk to another hotel to sort it out.
“Too much noise”
The bungalow was clean and looked fairly new, but we wanted a quiet riverside spot to relax. Instead the resort was very busy with guests playing music, drinking and doing karaoke in all common areas, so we left and didn’t stay the night.
