I didn't like it at all. The room smelled like sewage, mold on the walls, and tomorrow the staff will be criticized for a lightbulb.

The staff were polite, helpful, fulfilled every request, spoke English, told us about the country and interesting places in Baku, and showed where the currency exchange bank is and where the restaurants are.

We had to leave early because the noise was unbearable.

The staff were friendly, but they couldn’t understand us at all. The rooms were spacious, though a bit worn. The sofa had cigarette holes. The breakfast was the most basic I’ve ever seen – all plates and stoves were empty. Our bedroom door wouldn’t open without help (it only opened from the inside) and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly (it needed sanding). Both problems were already known when we checked in and had been around for a while, yet the manager didn’t try to fix them until we complained. That’s very unprofessional and incomprehensible. No one tried translation apps or anything. We left our luggage with them and asked if it could be stored in a locked room; they said yes, but seven hours later it was still sitting by the reception desk. We also found exposed electrical wires in our bathroom, which looked dangerous.
