Even though I checked in late, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I arrived too late to get the free coffee service for the room, but when I asked for it at checkout the next day, they gave me plenty. The room's air‑conditioner was hard to set to a comfortable temperature; maybe we were clueless.

We were given a room upgrade that turned out to be very spacious, letting the whole family relax happily, and the meals were delicious; however, dinner was served at the same time as the outdoor bath, so we never got a chance to linger in the hot tub.

The food was excellent and the service was courteous, but the room lacked a safe.

The newly renovated room was roomy, which I appreciated, yet the food was awful, the bathroom facilities were subpar, there were no amusement areas or a shop inside, and everything outside the guestroom was the worst possible; charging ¥25,000 for this ryokan makes no sense—¥12,000 would be the absolute ceiling.

I had a great experience at this hotel, with an excellent room and a peaceful atmosphere since it wasn't crowded. However, I was surprised to learn upon arrival that my pet-friendly room booking wasn't valid, despite having specifically selected that option.
