The hotel sits beautifully right on Lake Geneva’s shore. The staff act as if guests are royalty, immediately offering a bottle of wine when you only ask for a glass. The food was mediocre; the fish was undercooked and the vegetables raw. When I pointed this out, the response was snippy. The neighbors at the next table were loud and disruptive, almost unbearable. For the price, it was a total disappointment. The room was tight and cluttered, Wi‑Fi worked only in the hallway, and the bathroom/WC was so small it was barely usable. With its over‑the‑top décor and weak performance, this place is no longer an option for us.

The hotel has a retro style, the rooms are well laid out and cozy. It sits on the lake with beautiful views, within walking distance to the shore, and there’s a dock behind the hotel for swimming. There’s no air‑conditioning, but the cool lake breeze at night is enough. The rooms come with beach gear for easy lake trips. The morning housekeeping staff wore maid outfits, which was pretty nice. The shower water pressure was a bit low.
