The staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, and the hotel room was well thought out and organized. Parking is free in front of the hotel on the street and in the underground garage. The furnishings are a little dated, and during my stay the elevator was temporarily unusable.

The hotel has good transport links yet is absolutely quiet on a street practically free of traffic. I had a nice large room with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. I slept very well.

The breakfast was good for the price. The carpet in the room was completely dirty, covered in stains everywhere, just disgusting. The window was broken and couldn’t be closed, so it was very noisy at night! For the price, a refund should be issued.

I booked a two‑night weekday stay to explore the city and university before my move. The staff were friendly and the room was clean enough. What really impressed me was the prime spot between the university and Bilk, a great area for nightlife. However, the overall feel matched the reviews I’d read: the hotel looked old and in need of renovation. The bathroom on the third floor was relatively new, but the shower screen leaked at one spot, the toilet lid was loose, and the shower drain seemed slightly clogged. A chair I’d seen in earlier reviews was also in my room, and it was in terrible shape—chairs are usually easy to replace. The 140 cm bed was small and sagged noticeably. To top it off, the elevator broke down when I left, forcing me to take the stairs. For over a hundred euros per night, the value is really poor.

There's a supermarket just a few minutes from the hotel, which is the most convenient thing. 1、It's hard to see anyone at the reception. I called the front desk but no one answered, and no one called back afterward either. 2、On the first day, the water flow in the bathroom was very slow. If I hadn't happened to catch the maintenance person working on the whole floor the next morning, I really don't know how long it would have taken for the water to drain. 3、This is the first time I've seen a room without even a machine to boil water
