The location is very central, but the experience was a complete disappointment. Even upon arrival it was a catastrophe: no signage, hard to find, and nobody on the street could help us. Despite the announced arrival time, nobody seemed responsible for welcoming us. The photos barely matched reality. We expected a villa, yet there were four double rooms sharing a rundown pool and outdoor areas. There was no privacy at all. The “kitchen” consisted of a kettle and two cups, the toilet flush was broken, and room service was absent despite requests. Everything looked untidy and run-down.

The bed was comfortable, but our stay was very disappointing. The main issue was the street‑side entrance door: it could only be opened from the inside and had no lock for the outside. So each time we left, it had to stay open. If other guests entered or left, it could remain open for a long time, exposing the rooms to the street and reducing privacy and security. Moreover, the pool and surrounding floor were dirty. We had to request cleaning explicitly, and even then the overall cleanliness seemed lacking. We booked two rooms, one for me and one for my two daughters, and both had toilet problems. In my daughters’ room the toilet was broken and unusable; in mine the cistern flush button was also broken. We reported the situation and were assured it would be fixed, but no one came to repair anything during our stay. I also requested a partial refund for these issues but received no response. Subsequent service was nonexistent, giving the impression that once payment is made, there is no interest in addressing guest complaints. The location is central but also quite noisy, as the property is directly opposite a restaurant. At night we heard chants, and we also suffered frequent power cuts. I understand these interruptions can happen on an island like Gili Air, but they should be informed to guests beforehand. For the price paid, I expected far better conditions and a higher level of service. I have stayed in cheaper accommodations that offered much better cleanliness, maintenance, and noticeably more attentive service. I left very dissatisfied and, for all the above, I do not recommend this place.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bathroom was large. The pool and loungers were well appreciated. It was well‑located in the center and close to the port. Everything is within walking distance, 5 to 10 minutes.

The pool, cleanliness, and location were good. What was missing were a fridge, wardrobe, clothes‑drying area, TV, etc.
