The place looked beautiful and special, and it was very clean. I had already booked a non‑cancellable stay, so I decided to keep it and use a double room even though I was alone, hoping for quiet study time and a bathtub. As soon as I arrived I realized there was no hot water, so I couldn’t shower. I called the host who promised to fix it immediately, but when I started filling the tub the water only reached 20 cm and the hot water disappeared again, as if they were limiting the hot water usage. I stopped trying to bathe, couldn’t even rinse out of the tub because there was no hot water. I grabbed something to eat, washed my face and hands with cold water, and left without staying the night.
