Crafnant House - Bed & Breakfast

I can’t recommend staying here enough; it’s a classic old‑school B&B where you’re treated like family. The rooms are small but cozy and homely, and the bed was divine. Two sitting areas and a beautiful garden with plenty of spots to relax.

“Cosy, welcoming stay - like visiting your grandma's summer house.”

Everything about this stay was great. The house was spotless, very cozy and charming—true Welsh cottage feel with a lounge on every floor. The bed and mattress were amazing; I honestly didn’t want to get up in the mornings. It was very quiet, and we had a gorgeous view from our top‑floor room. A kettle with tea, coffee, sugar, and biscuits was already set up for us when we arrived. The host met us even though we arrived late, recommended a great pub nearby, and when we had to leave early one morning she packed us breakfast to take with us. It felt like staying at your grandma’s summer house for the weekend. A bit cold at night, radiators didn’t seem to work, but the blanket made it fine. The shower is shared between two rooms, so that’s worth knowing in advance. Prices around here are pretty high in general but felt fair for what we got.

“Comfort, charm and convenience!”

Crafnant House sits right in the heart of North Wales, putting castles, gardens, heritage railways and gorgeous scenery within easy reach. The village itself offers several lovely walks that start right there. Jasmine and Stuart welcomed us warmly and were a treasure trove of information on sights and, most importantly, where to eat. They made every request feel effortless and it was clear they love their work. Each morning we could pick either a traditional breakfast or a daily special, and both were delicious. Our room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and offered a view of the surrounding farmland; having off‑street parking was a real bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to return soon—thanks again, Jasmine and Stuart!

“Will come back as it is a top notch place to stay”

The bed and breakfast was great, with friendly hosts Jasmine, Stuart, and their dog ‘Run’. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was super tasty, featuring a dish of the day.
