“Velice smíšené pocity”
I really want to stress that the host lady was incredibly pleasant, which usually is enough for a positive review. She also gave us a bottle of wine and beer as a gesture for the missing breakfast. The Wi‑Fi worked. The room was fairly well equipped and seemed recently renovated, so it looked quite decent. The price for accommodation is extremely favorable. I think you can stay here with pets and someone might appreciate that. For us, this stay was basically a survival game. The first problem was that the host didn’t give us breakfast. The listing said “breakfast available in the accommodation for an extra 250 Kč per person” and proudly showed photos of a served breakfast. We arrived and the host smiled and told us “tomorrow is Sunday, no breakfast, you should have said in advance,” which was a huge issue for us; we chose this place for a three‑day hike through the foothills of the Jeseníky with kids aged 7 and 10. There was nothing nearby. The kids secretly ate the remaining Oreo cookies before bed, and a two‑day‑old snack was already stale, so we had to get up at 7 km to a steep hill at Švýcárna on an empty stomach. The second huge problem was the pervasive presence of animals. The entire accommodation felt like a cat or dog toilet (the room had an air freshener), the sofa in the living area was full of animal hair, hair clumps were even in the cupboard with dishes. The result was that the kids coughed all night from allergies and we didn’t sleep well. That’s probably our problem. I believe someone might see that as an advantage. So I wouldn’t discourage anyone from this choice; the host really tried hard and the problem was more on our side.
