“Hostal bien comunicado en Brunete.”

The hostel sits in a great spot in Brunete, and parking is free either on the street or on the square behind the building. A café is less than five minutes on foot and serves a very good breakfast. Brunete is well connected by car in the western part of Madrid, and the bathrooms were clean. The key is left in a small lockbox at the door, almost like an Airbnb. The only downside is that the bathrooms are shared, something we knew when we booked, and the rooms weren’t cleaned during our two‑night stay.

The staff were very helpful, the arrival was flexible, and the twin‑bedroom provided all the basics, was comfortable and more than enough. The overall stay was a very good experience.

The location was good, but the price was high for the quality. The kitchen furniture needed cleaning and there were no glasses. The bathrooms lacked shower gel. In our room the fan didn’t work.

The location and the staff who were friendly via WhatsApp were positives. The place was dirty, the sheets were even torn, the bed was only stretched, which made me think the sheets hadn’t been changed. I didn’t expect much, but given the price I thought it would be clean.
