The location is spot‑on, close to Golden Street and the bus station – perfect for heading to Puerta del Cielo and Tianmen Mountain. We had booked a room with two large beds for four adults, but that same day we were told one of the beds was small. They switched us to two double beds at the same price (that part worked out fine), but initially they suggested we cancel the reservation. Another issue was the rooms had a tobacco smell.

The staff were super friendly, and the hotel is just a five‑minute walk from the Tianmen cable car.

A fairly comfortable, modern, small room at a reasonable price, right in the city centre next to the cable car to the mountain. The owner helped us buy park tickets, and there were plenty of cafés and shops nearby. The air‑conditioning was weak, the shower cubicle wasn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom, the breakfast menu was limited and identical, and breakfast was delivered to the room. The room’s tiny wall‑table was cramped and there was no fridge.

I stayed close to the cable car next to Tianmen Mountain and the old town, but the place was hard to find, the AC couldn't keep it cool, and we ended up sharing one bed with three people even though that wasn't what we booked. The toilet was a squat toilet instead of a regular bowl.
