“We would highly recommend Clos du Bellefontaine when staying in Bayeux.”
Carole is a friendly, attentive host who gave excellent restaurant tips and warned us that many places book early. The location is close to eateries and main sights, and the property itself is beautiful and spotless. We stayed on the third floor, accessed by stairs, which made unloading a bit more difficult but still manageable.

An elegant, spacious home with a garden, plenty of room, tasteful décor, a large first‑floor room with a long wide staircase, a big bathroom and separate toilet, and pretty windows overlooking the garden. The dining room was lovely for breakfast, which was delicious. We handled the shower fitting over the bath; the bathroom was large, spotless, and comfortable.
