Located in the UNESCO-protected centre of Český Krumlov, Hotel Konvice is a short walk from the main square. This historic hotel, first mentioned in 1539, features 2 buildings with elegantly furnished rooms, each uniquely decorated and some with original wooden beams. Free Wi-Fi is available at reception. A renovated restaurant serves a rich breakfast buffet from 7-10 a.m. with outdoor seating offering views of the old town and castle.

The location was good, but there is no bad location anywhere in Cesky Krumlov old town. The lady at reception was rude and condescending, and it felt like she was not used to seeing brown people in her hotel. I am not saying this lightly.

A very nice, atmospheric hotel. Room 12 impressed us right from the door. The guest terrace was great and the location was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it to everyone.

The hotel was very nice with an excellent breakfast in a great in‑town location. Cesky Krumlov is a must‑visit town, very quaint and picturesque with lots to do, and we are glad we spent a few days there. The hosts were very nice and responsive, preparing an extensive breakfast buffet in a very nice breakfast room. We also highly recommend the CK shuttle transport to get to and from Cesky Krumlov – they were very convenient and well priced. We highly recommend spending a couple of days in Cesky Krumlov and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Konvice. Nothing to add.

We had a huge room on the bottom floor that was really an apartment with several rooms. Breakfast was really good and freshly prepared by the host manager, who went out of her way to help us on several occasions. The location was just a few steps from the main square and all the sites, and the view of the castle from the bedroom windows was great. You had to use an old‑style steel key for entrance to the building after hours and then for entry into the room; the key was also used on the inside to lock your door, which was worrisome to think about an emergency exit.

The location was very good, the breakfast great with good options, and the water was well heated. The heating did not warm the room much, but the blankets solved the problem.
