“Отличный отель”
It was very clean, with no odd smells. There was a storage area – a nightstand, a chair and a wardrobe with hangers for clothes. They did housekeeping and put water bottles in the room, and when they hung a sign on the door about cleaning it was all as promised. The air‑conditioner worked well, the kettle, fridge and hairdryer were all as advertised. The staff were friendly. The location was good, about 20 minutes on foot to the centre.
“Good hotel to stay”
Price and quality are at a reasonable level, very clean. Good connection to the centre, a bit far but still close. Bad sound isolation – I could hear everyone passing by through the corridor.
“Good value for money”
The hotel had just been renovated, so all the furniture looked nice. It sits close to downtown—about 20 minutes by taxi to Independence Square. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the staff were very helpful, making it good value for money. On the downside, there was no restaurant (though they said one would open soon), and the hotel has no elevator, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be a deal‑breaker for others.
“Nice hotel, affordable price, mediocre location”
The building is brand new and the rooms are huge. The rooms are clean, though a bit sparse. The price is exceptional for the size and quality. Plaza Viktoria sits in a pretty random part of town. Construction is happening everywhere, so I expect it to become a lively area in Yerevan soon. Right now it feels like a desert. We had trouble finding a café within walking distance, and because public transit is scarce, getting from the hotel to downtown sights was not easy. The walk is along a busy road, which is unpleasant. I hope the area improves around the hotel. Also, the soap and shampoo provided were oddly watery.
The staff were good, but the housekeeping left something to be desired.
