“Excellent”
A very inviting space using renovated logings. The stairs were a bit of a hassle.

I liked the breakfast and the interior was pretty, plus it’s close to the sights. The first floor was noisy; the top floor was better. The hotel charged 25 % more than the online rate and when I pointed it out the staff just shrugged. Don’t book directly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those at the restaurant and the porters, and they made me feel welcome. The interior was nice, with a glass ceiling, cozy spots and beautiful plants in the inner garden. My room was very comfortable and the housekeeping kept it immaculate every day. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like. The only minor issue was the street, which felt a bit secluded in the late afternoon and evening. The hotel isn’t far from busier plazas or streets (about a 7‑10 minute walk), but traveling alone with a younger child made me a bit cautious and I would have preferred the immediate area to be livelier. The hotel always had a taxi ready, so I never felt unsafe.

The building is fine, tastefully restored. The room is spacious, the bathroom well equipped. Staff extremely kind. Great restaurant. Very close to Plaza Mayor and all historic sites of the center. No elevator.
