The owner went above and beyond – they let us drop off our bags whenever we wanted and even set out breakfast for us before sunrise when we were heading out. The bed felt like a cloud and the whole lodge had that snug, Gilmore‑Girls‑style charm. Being right in downtown Banff made everything walkable, so the location gets a perfect score.

The lady who greeted us was exceptionally courteous and always ready to share tips about the area and the stay itself. Breakfast offered a great variety and quality, and the hotel sits in a central yet quiet part of town, perfect for walking around. There’s also a private parking lot at the back of the house. The only drawback was that our room was on the first floor, which made handling heavy luggage a bit awkward.
