The Balinese‑style bungalow was charming and excellent, and the view from the restaurant was wonderful. The staff were very kind. It would have been even better if there were a fridge, kettle, coffee cup, coffee, and bottled water.

The room had no safe, no air‑conditioning, no fridge, and was poor, but once I upgraded to another room I was happy. The sea‑front room was nice, the staff were great and helpful.

The outdoor seating area was pretty nice in the morning when the sun shone directly on it. The lady at reception was lovely and gave us a second bedsheet when we asked. However, there were cockroaches and massive street noise, so I would say it’s not worth the money. The place is very old and I’m not sure about the maintenance status. Mosquitoes were a problem all day; our unit was in a damp shady corner by the road/fence, and even after closing all windows and doors, the mosquitoes kept getting in and biting all over my body. The lady at reception tried to find and sweep the cockroaches away, but she wasn’t fast enough. The reception/warung is across the road.

The proximity to the beachfront was great; you just have to cross the street. The room and bathroom were clean. My bungalow faced the street and was very noisy, and it was a bit far from the center if you’re walking.

I loved the spot and the staff were super friendly, but the place is actually on the other side of the road up the back, not right on the beach as we had imagined.
