The hotel feels really nice and the check‑in was quick. Our room was spacious with a big window that offered a nice view, and the mosquito net was a thoughtful touch. The bed was large and comfortable. The spot is also superb, just a 5‑minute walk to the express bus terminal and about 5‑10 minutes to the beach. The bathroom was roomy, but the shower drain was poorly positioned outside the shower area, causing water to spread across the whole bathroom after each shower.

The room was large with two bathrooms, a kitchenette, a massage chair in the lobby, and the self‑check‑in was hassle‑free. However, despite the generous size there was only one double bed, so two of the four guests had to sleep on futons on the floor. The room could have accommodated a second double bed. Only small towels were provided and guests had to dispose of their own trash. Still, the unbeatable value makes these “flaws” tolerable, especially for a short stay.

The price is so low that any lack of facilities or minor flaws are easily forgiven, though you have to walk a long way to Sokcho Beach because the direct road is blocked by an apartment complaint, forcing you onto a big detour that takes about 10 minutes – not ideal when you’re in swimwear with luggage, so that should be mentioned. No negatives to report.

I’ve stayed here several times, but this time the owner had left, so the service was not great.

Really beautiful and spacious rooms. It’s clear the hotel isn’t brand new, but everything works and it’s reasonably well maintained.
