I booked in May 2025, but by September 2025 the Fairfield Louisville Jefferson hotel had shut down entirely, with no email or notice; I only discovered the reservation had been moved to a different Fairfield hotel after spotting another one in Jefferson, which was a huge let‑down since we chose it for its proximity to our event, and the chain offered no empathy.

When we arrived, the front desk clerk was warm and made both my wife and me feel truly appreciated, even suggesting we dine at Harbor & Hops next door, where we enjoyed superb burgers just a stone’s throw away; I only wish the place had an indoor pool, otherwise everything else was fine.
