We chose this spot because it was close to Lac de Chalain, and the top‑floor family room offered lovely views. My son enjoyed the pool and had it to himself most of the time, and we ate a tasty meal at the downstairs restaurant. The rooms and bathroom amenities were a bit dated, but the price matched that and the room stayed clean.

The bed was comfy and the hotel stayed clean, but the bathroom was a disaster—tiny, impractical, with shower feet in front of the sink, no mixer on the tap, and the sink was so close to the toilet that it hit my shoulder while I sat. The TV was on a tray above a small desk, and I bumped into it three times while leaning over.
