Set in Rovigno’s historic centre, the hotel’s location was superb, though the price felt a bit steep for a room without breakfast; the room itself was new, tastefully decorated, with a nice bathroom and quality shower and shampoo supplies, and the staff were very kind. What annoyed me was that useful items in the room were actually for sale, so assuming they were free led to an unexpected bill, even the pen and paper cost extra, while only coffee and tea were complimentary and could be taken from the nice cups provided.

The hotel sits in a luxuriously renovated old house, and we were assigned a room on the top floor with a slanted ceiling and exposed beams. It feels almost like a tiny apartment because there’s a small kitchen and a very spacious wardrobe. The bathroom is fairly large and features a stunning shower. All furnishings, both in the room and the bathroom, are designer and we really liked them. There is no elevator, but the staff helped us with our luggage. The property is located in the oldest part of Rovigno, in the pedestrian zone, just a few steps from the Cathedral of Sant’Eufemia and the harbor. We left our car in a reserved parking lot; they brought it back to us in a little electric car (very convenient). If I ever return to Rovigno, I would choose this hotel again. We would have preferred a firmer mattress, but that’s a matter of personal taste.

Perfect, no other word fits; the dream location felt like a postcard, the room was gorgeous and unique with a small fridge, coffee machine, super‑comfortable bed, and air‑conditioning. There was no parking on site, but following the staff’s advice we walked about ten minutes to a quirky free lot, and they even helped with our luggage on a mini‑golf cart both on arrival and departure. The team was courteous and went above and beyond, and we loved everything.
