Located in a 15th-century building behind St. Mark’s Square, the Relais Venezia is situated in one of Venice's oldest and smallest streets. This elegant, non-smoking hotel features exposed wood beams, Venetian tapestries, and flat-screen TVs in each room, accessible only by stairs. Surrounded by workshops, restaurants, and pubs, it's near the San Zaccaria waterbus stop, offering easy access to the city.

The place was wonderfully decorated, perfectly located, spotless, with top‑quality bedding, a breakfast you could customize to your taste, and an exceptional welcome. We had an extraordinary stay and a huge thank you to the hosts, especially Elena who was always attentive, smiling, and kind. Thanks to the whole beautiful team.

We chose the apartment because it didn’t offer breakfast and has a separate entrance from the hotel. It’s spacious, essentially spotless, with a pleasant, classic interior and a comfortable, fairly large bed. All the amenities we needed were present. The apartment sits right in the city center, so the main tourist spots are a short walk away and most of the city is within walking distance. It was very quiet at night, and even during the day the only noise was the gondoliers, who mostly shouted rather than sang—outside the accommodation’s control. I only met Federico at reception, and he was the best host I could imagine—helpful, patient, cultured, cheerful, and always ready for a chat. Since I had little knowledge of Venice’s layout, my expectations were exceeded, especially regarding the location, so I give a 10/10 for our stay and would gladly return. There’s really nothing to complain about; older or larger guests might want to consider accessibility and the relatively small bathroom, but we had no issues.
