The spot is amazing, the view is stunning, the restaurant is fantastic, and the room is huge for just one person—unbelievable for the price. The only downside is that getting there on foot can be tricky if you’re walking part of the Alta via dei Monti Latari; the road is full of cars on tight curves that don’t give walkers a clear view, so it’s better to take the bus one stop and avoid that dangerous stretch.

The view of Vesuvius from the private terrace is superb, the restaurant is very friendly and tasty, and I highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, and the balcony view of Vesuvius and Pompeii is indescribably beautiful.

The Vesuvius‑view rooms are fantastic, and the staff is genuinely kind and helpful. The building could use a facelift, and the breakfast could be more varied, but since we were there in the low season it’s understandable that the breakfast selection was sparse.
