For such a large room, a bigger air‑conditioner is needed and the carpet should be replaced; otherwise everything is fine.

Hotel Maria, located in Botoşani's centre, faces Mihai Eminescu Park. Elegant rooms with free internet access are offered. The restaurant serves regional specialties like cabbage rolls and diverse soups with Moldavian brandy. A Promenade bar and terrace overlook the town centre, while a summer garden features barbecue facilities, perfect for relaxation.

The room and hotel location are great, but there was noise from a festival and the food quality has dropped compared to previous years.

We always pick this hotel whenever we visit Botoșani, and this year we enjoyed a beautifully renovated room that my son adored; the pedestrian‑only location was perfect and the facilities – parking, pool, and restaurant – were outstanding, so thank you and I warmly recommend it. Sadly, the attitude of the staff on the front terrace of the restaurant was far from satisfactory; they seemed unprepared and spent the whole day smoking at the first table on the left side of the entrance instead of attending to guests, which ruined an otherwise delicious meal.

The hotel is in a central pedestrian zone, quiet yet lively and pleasant, has a decent restaurant with three terraces and reasonable prices, and the breakfast is quite generous and very good. The service on the terraces is quite slow, the hallway carpet has darkened over time and looks ugly; it should be replaced with a more durable color. That’s the difference between a 9 and a 10.

This is my third stay at this hotel since May, and I highly recommend it. Top.
