There was no hot water to shower in the morning, the advertised sauna was broken, the facilities matched the price, and no staff were around to issue a bill.

The whole hotel looks terribly unkempt; the stairwell wall’s plaster peels off because of severe dampness. In room 31 the bathroom lacks a vent, the towel rack is missing, the shower door is only about 1.80 m tall, and the hallway floor has two uneven steps that you can’t see and step on with your toes because there’s no proper metal strip to mark the hazard. Old, unusable furniture pieces are scattered in the corridors, clearly destined for the junkyard. The hotel also houses several refugee apartments, which were friendly. Breakfast is artfully prepared and served by a kind man whose fingernails look like those of a heavy‑oil plant worker. Aside from the central location, it’s a pure disaster!

We discovered a stray grape in the sink that wasn’t ours, and the hot water failed on the evening we wanted to shower. Breakfast was passable, but there were a lot of dirty plates left around even though only the two of us were there.
