The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming
We also enjoyed the spa facilities, which were small but well-equipped, and we were able to enjoy them alone for a romantic hour
The view from the hotel overlooking the Cavado River was simply stunning
The hotel's proximity to Santuario de Sao Bento and Geres National Park made it an ideal base for my visit

The breakfast was "reasonable" for a 4‑star hotel, but there was no pleasant spot to sit and read a newspaper or a book; I expected a bit more from a 4‑star place.
Everything was fantastic – the facilities, the staff, the breakfasts, everything – nothing to complain about.
The staff were wonderful and the hotel exceeded my expectations.
“Mon séjour a été super j ai découvert des endroit fabuleux”
The hotel was beautiful, the room was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast disappointed me with undercooked pastries, and I expected local, unwrapped products in that area. The spa was too small for the water, and I think it should be included in the room price, not extra. Parking was poorly organized; I never found a spot for my car and had to park in loading bays as an exception.
“Large, modern and comfortable hotel in a pleasant location”
The hotel sits in São Bento da Porta Aberta and guests can park outside the building. Reception staff are very friendly and efficient, and everything was clean and tidy. Our room was a decent size, the bed firm, and the quiet night meant we slept well. The bathroom was modern and the shower worked properly. Breakfast options were limited and the layout caused people to bump into each other. The bar staff also serve drinks to restaurant guests, so there were long stretches when the bar was unattended. I had to go to reception and complain to get a drink at the bar.
