The bed was wide and quiet, the staff were friendly, and the place sits next to a park with good nearby restaurants, a TV, and a Harris. The bathroom water runs toward the entrance and the basic amenities are very sparse for the price; buying a toothbrush set costs a lot, soap can be bought for 500 won, and there are no cotton swabs. There is a desk but no sofa or table, which is disappointing for a business traveler and a venue that hosts many weddings.

I stayed for a conference at the Daejeon Convention Center, so the hotel was super convenient as it’s just a 3‑minute walk away. The area had plenty of restaurants to pick from, which was great. For a hotel that claims to be Midscale, it felt very Economy. The room was too simple and uncomfortable: very little space to open the suitcases; no room at all on the other side of the bed, so we stumbled our toes more than once on the tricky corner wall next to the bed; no wall electricity plug on the other side of the bed; only one pillow per person, and the pillow was completely flat, causing horrible neck pain during the stay; the shower was an open‑door type, the water kept spilling out during showers and left water everywhere afterward; staff was quite unfriendly, and the hotel felt cold and unwelcoming.
